Bought a 30-pack for my classroom and the thinner design actually makes them easier for the kids to trace shapes without slipping. The new colors are a nice touch too, since I can hand out different shades to each table group.
The flexible plastic bends just enough to trace curved shapes without snapping, which is why I grabbed the bulk pack for my art students. A dozen 12-inch rulers in new colors for this price is honestly a steal.
