The flexible plastic bends just enough to trace curves without cracking, which my old stiff rulers never managed. New colors make it easy to keep track of whose is whose.
Bought a 30-pack for my classroom and the thinner design actually makes them easier for the kids to trace shapes without slipping. The new colors are a nice touch too, since I can hand out different shades to each table group.
The flexible plastic bends just enough to trace curved shapes without snapping, which is why I grabbed the bulk pack for my art students. A dozen 12-inch rulers in new colors for this price is honestly a steal.
